If you are familiar with our blog then you have probably noticed that we love to make and play with Playdough.  The benefits of play dough play are numerous and kids of all ages have much to gain from engaging with play dough activities. Super Soft Colour Surprise Playdough

I love trying out new play dough ideas.  Doodles and Oodles love playing with playdough, they play with it most days.  I haven’t made it in a number of weeks as the play dough recipe I generally use makes a dough that can be stored in the fridge for weeks and weeks and used over and over again. Recently on Pinterest I spotted this really great idea by Learn Play Imagine for Colour Surprise Playdough – it looked like so much fun,  I was completely intrigued by it and have been waiting for the right opportunity to try it. I changed the recipe as I wanted to try out a…

(Kids) Gloriously green play dough fun- St Patrick’s Day Festivities

St Patrick’s Day is Monday, 17th March. It’s our national day here in Ireland. It’s a weekend of fun and frolics and a celebration of all things Irish. It also means a day off school and work! In preparation for the weekend ahead we’ve been having a little fun with some St Patrick’s Day themed activities. Today’s fun included exploring with green home-made play dough and very messy outdoor antics with gloop! First thing on the agenda was to make the play dough. Usually I let the children make it themselves but we were a little short on time today as we had a trip to the library scheduled, so…
