Work With Me
Thoughtful partnerships, beautifully told.
Thank you for your interest in working with Our Little House in the Country.
Established in 2013, Our Little House in the Country is an independent Irish lifestyle publication exploring seasonal living, home and family life, simple food, creativity and the beauty to be found in ordinary days.
What began as a small family blog more than a decade ago has grown and changed alongside our lives. Today, readers come to Our Little House from Ireland and around the world for thoughtful long-form writing, practical seasonal ideas, our ever-growing library of free printables and a gentler, more realistic approach to living well.
At the heart of everything I create is a simple belief: our ordinary lives are worth paying attention to.
That same philosophy shapes the partnerships I choose.
I love working with brands, businesses, makers and organisations whose products, stories and values feel genuinely at home here — creating collaborations that are useful and interesting to my readers while allowing a partner’s story to be told thoughtfully and beautifully.
Ways We Can Work Together
Sponsored Editorial Features
Long-form, beautifully written articles created specifically for the Our Little House readership.
Rather than simply placing a product in front of an audience, I prefer to build it naturally into a story or idea that readers genuinely want to spend time with.
Editorial features can include original photography or illustration, thoughtful storytelling, search-friendly evergreen content, relevant internal linking and continued discovery through Pinterest and the wider Our Little House archive.
The aim is always to create something that remains useful long after the initial campaign has ended.
Our Little Friday Letter
Our Little Friday Letter is my fortnightly letter to a growing community of readers who have chosen to hear directly from Our Little House.
It is deliberately personal, thoughtful and conversational, and readers regularly reply to continue the conversation.
A small number of carefully selected newsletter partnerships and sponsorships may be considered where a brand or product feels genuinely relevant to the subject of the letter and to the people reading it.
Seasonal Partnerships & Campaigns
Seasonal storytelling is at the heart of Our Little House in the Country.
From slow autumn days and Christmas at home to spring beginnings, summer living, family traditions and the rhythms of the school year, there are opportunities to build thoughtful campaigns around the moments our readers are already experiencing.
Depending on the partnership, a seasonal campaign might combine an editorial feature, newsletter inclusion, original photography or illustration, printable resources and selected supporting social content.
Product Features & Reviews
I occasionally feature products that fit naturally into life at Our Little House — particularly within the areas of home, food and cooking, books, family life, gardening, creativity, travel and seasonal living.
Any product I feature must be something I can genuinely and comfortably recommend to my readers. Trust matters enormously here, so all opinions remain my own.
Affiliate Partnerships
I welcome conversations about carefully chosen affiliate relationships, particularly where there is potential for an authentic, longer-term partnership rather than a one-off promotion.
Products and services are only recommended when they are genuinely relevant to Our Little House and its readership.
Supporting Social Content
Our Little House also has an established and highly engaged social community.
Where it makes sense, editorial and seasonal collaborations can be supported through carefully created Instagram posts, carousels and Stories, allowing the partnership to reach readers across several parts of the Our Little House community while keeping the blog and long-form storytelling at the centre.
Why Our Little House?
After more than a decade of writing online, one of the things I value most is the trust that has grown between Our Little House and its readers.
This isn’t a space built around constant promotion or passing trends.
People return for the writing, the seasonal ideas, the printables, the recipes and, increasingly, the sense of conversation and community that has developed around them.
Our Little House combines the depth and long-term discoverability of an established website with a growing email readership and strong communities across Pinterest and Instagram.
For the right partner, that offers something particularly valuable: the opportunity to become part of a story rather than simply appearing beside one.
Partnerships are deliberately selective. I would much rather create a small number of collaborations that feel completely natural here than fill the site or social channels with advertising that doesn’t.

Editorial Contributions
From time to time, I also welcome guest contributions from writers, makers, creatives and experts whose work or experience can offer something genuinely interesting, thoughtful or useful to Our Little House readers.
These are editorial collaborations rather than commercial placements and are considered individually.
I don’t accept unrelated pre-written guest posts, articles created primarily for SEO or backlink purposes, or paid link placements.
