Paper Fan Pumpkin Decorations
More Halloween Fun! Super easy paper pumpkin decorations!
While my little girl was taking a surprise nap this morning I had some fun experimenting with paper to see what pumpkin decorations I could make. I must admit that I was delighted with how these decorations turned out! They look great and are definitely suitable for the kids to make themselves too!
Paper Fan Pumpkin Decorations
What you need:
- paper – orange and green
- stapler and staples
- scissors
- Halloween embellishments (optional, I just think they add a little “finish” to the decorations)
- Thread (to hang)
What you do:
- make 3 orange paper fans
- fold each fan in half and secure the sides that meet with a staple to form a fan
- attach the 3 fans to each other by securing with staples until a circle is formed
- make a smaller green fan – 4 or 5 folds
- attach this to the orange circle or pumpkin with a staple
- if desired add a Halloween embellishment to the centre. We actually used little plastic bat rings that were part of a 90 piece set of Halloween accessories that I bought for 2 euro in a discount store.
- these make great hanging decorations – to hang, secure some thread with tape to the green stalk and hang from the ceiling etc!
Have fun!
