Our Little House Favourites
Welcome.
This is a gently curated list of books and little home favourites I genuinely use and love — the things that help our days feel calmer, cosier, and more intentional. I’ll keep adding to this page slowly over time as I share new favourites.

📚 Books for Slow Days & Seasonal Living
Seasonal living, wintering, gentle resets, and books I return to again and again.
📖 Winter Reading & Seasonal Inspiration
If you’re drawn to the quieter, slower rhythms of the colder months, these are some of the books I return to again and again during winter. They explore themes of seasonal living, rest, reflection, hygge, and finding joy in simpler days. I’ll leave the links below if you’d like to explore any of them further.

🏡 Homemaking & Kitchen Comforts
The “keep it ticking over” bits — practical, well-used, and genuinely helpful.
Crock-Pot Slow Cooker (6.5L)
This is the slow cooker I rely on for easy, nourishing family meals, especially on busy days. It’s large enough to cook for all of us (and then some), simple to use, and the removable ceramic bowl makes clean-up straightforward. I love being able to get dinner going earlier in the day and come back to something warm and ready later on — it’s one of those tools that genuinely makes everyday life feel calmer.
📓 Planning, Journaling & Printables
Simple tools that help me keep life feeling steady — without turning into a productivity project.
Clever Fox Planner Daily PRO – Daily Life Planner and Gratitude Journal
A flexible planner I use to organise work, home, and ideas — without overwhelming my days.
Clever Fox Planner PRO Schedule – Undated Weekly & Monthly Life Organizer with Time Slots
This is the planner I reach for to organise both my weeks and my months in a calm, practical way. I love that it’s undated, so there’s no pressure to “keep up,” and the time-slot layout helps me gently map out work, home life, and appointments without overloading my days. It’s supportive rather than rigid — exactly what I need to keep everything ticking along.
Clever Fox Reading Journal – Guided Book Review Log with Reading Tracker
I use this journal to slow down and savour my reading rather than rushing from one book to the next. It’s a lovely way to keep track of what I’m reading, jot down thoughts, favourite quotes, and reflections, and notice how certain books meet me in different seasons of life. A quiet companion for slow evenings and reflective moments.
Large Family Wall Calendar
This is the calendar we use to keep everyone’s comings and goings visible at a glance. It lives in our kitchen and everything goes into it — school dates, work commitments, appointments, and family plans for all four of us. It’s big, colourful, easy to read from across the room, and most importantly, it just works. A simple, reliable tool for keeping family life running smoothly.
A3 Monthly Planner Desk Pad by Clear Mind Concepts®
This is the monthly planner we used throughout 2025 and absolutely loved. We kept it on the fridge with a magnet and colour-coded everything — one pen for each of the four of us — so we could see the whole month at a glance. There’s plenty of space for appointments, activities, school dates, and family plans, and it’s big enough to be genuinely useful without feeling cluttered. A really simple, effective way to keep everyone organised.
🕯 Cozy Home & Seasonal Touches
Little touches that make the house feel warm and lived-in — especially in the darker months.
Candle Warmer Lamp (Flameless)
This little candle warmer is one of my favourite cosy additions to our home. It gives the warm glow of candlelight without a flame, gently releasing scent while creating such a soft, comforting atmosphere in the evenings. I love that it has adjustable brightness and a timer, so it feels both beautiful and practical — especially on darker nights when I want the house to feel calm and inviting.
